3/5 one star for Nicole Kidman's outfits, which means in reality this movie got a 2/5.
This was categorized as a "Erotic/Thriller", well, it was not a thriller whatsoever and barely erotic. In my opinion, many of the ideas were half baked and I get the general theme that people in positions of power in one place of their life (being a CEO in her case) may have fantasies of being submissive/ have someone tell them what to do in other places in their life, it wasn't executed in a way that was impactful, to me at least.
In theory, that can be very hot, I think the build up of this movie was just not there. While the acting was great, and both main actors did well, I just expected so much more from the trailer. Also there are scenes from the trailer that did not show up in the movie at all. This is also one of those movies where if you just communicated with your husband, the movie wouldn't really exist. I'm not sure, maybe the target demographic of this movie was a bit older, I just wanted and expected more. More tension! More desire!
