TV show review - Emily in Paris

Emily in Paris is about an American girl in marketing who ends up in Paris, and how her American culture clashes with French culture! 

Did I binge watch this show? Yes. Did I love it? No, but I love to hate on it. There's something fun about rolling your eyes and being slightly annoyed. I can't imagine how unwatchable this show would be if not for Lily Collins being extra charming. She kind of saved the show. 

Kind of entertaining, not going to lie, but in a way where I used 1 of my brain cells to watch this, and that brain cell was half asleep. So this is def a show for when you are kind of tired. 

It kind of reminded me of gossip girl but a super botched version. I definitely feel like there was a LOT of tokenization going on in the show, which is, you know, always unwelcomed. Also lots of weird  " french ppl are sooooo rude" stereotypes.  Really disliked that. 

Anyways,  it's fun to hate on.  I have no regrets of binging the whole thing, it has it's place in the world.
