The interior is very relaxed and urban. After hearing good things about their cheesecake, I went and tried some out. The Raspberry White Chocolate Cheese Cake, which is their February special, (shown below) was very delicious. It was almost a fusion of mousse and cheesecake because it was so moist. It also had a lemon undertone which complimented the raspberry nicely. The crust wasn't overly sweet either. The unfortunate thing was that it wasn't a big slice and costed $6.99(+tax) The slice was perfect for 1, could be shared between 2 un-comfortably. And I suspect that although the coffee is organic, the cheese cake is not.
If the cheesecake was also organic, it might justify the price.
Conclusion: Indulgence. Good first coffee date cheese cake.
I also tried out the Mocha Cheese Cake which was pretty good but not "gasp" worthy. Less flavourful than expected . If you are reading this, Trees Organic, I think that if you put a little bit of espresso in the crust, it would give this OOMPh.
A picture of the display of the yummier cheese cake.
Cute dog looking at our cheesecake.
Now, onto the drinks.
Cappuccino(above)- Needed more foam. But overall, good job.
Latte (Above) - Yeaaaah....... no art. I was actually pretty disappointed. A good cup of Latte should not have visible bubbles on top. The foam overall was not very well done. It was very strong though. Barista needs more guidance/practice.
Didn't try their sandwich out but they looked very good!
